Privacy
This page covers the Capybuild pre-launch waitlist. Capybuild is a free, ad-supported AI coding agent that has not launched yet.
What we collect
- Your email address, which you give us in the sign-up form.
- Your answer to the optional "what will you build?" question (a website, or a web app, tool or something else), if you choose to answer.
- Timestamps for sign-up and unsubscribe, and the consent wording you saw, so we can show you agreed.
- Basic sign-up context, so we know which links bring people here: campaign tags in the page link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), the website that linked you here (if your browser shares it), your browser's user-agent string, and your country as estimated by Cloudflare from your connection. We don't store your city or precise location.
- To limit spam, a one-way keyed hash of your IP address is kept briefly as a rate-limit counter. We don't store your raw IP address in our database.
What we do with it
We use your email only to tell you about the Capybuild launch, and we never sell or share it. We don't send you any email when you sign up. When someone joins the waitlist, the site owner receives an internal notification that includes the email address that was added (and the optional answer).
What we don't do
- No tracking cookies.
- No third-party analytics or advertising scripts on this page.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send you about the launch will include an unsubscribe link. Because we don't verify addresses at sign-up, if someone entered your address and you don't want to hear from us, use that link or email us and we'll remove it. After you unsubscribe we keep only your address marked as unsubscribed, so we don't email you again by mistake, unless you ask us to delete it.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@capybuild.com. We'll act on it promptly.
Service providers
This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver the site and stores sign-ups in its database service. The internal sign-up notification to the site owner is sent through an email provider.
